Last night I watched the A's vs. Angels on tv while I worked online since I'm a big A's fan.

But this morning some tragic news hit me when I looked at Yahoo.

So sad and tragic how things can happen like this.. drunk guy with prior DUI hits
the car Nick was driving and knocked it into a light pole. A few people inside died.
The drunk guy sped away but was caught.

Poor guy, had his whole life and career ahead of him.

Don't drink and drive. Period. God bless you Nick. RIP.

When the Marlins were talking to the Angels about Miguel Cabrera last off season Nick Adenhart was one of the pitchers they wanted from the Angels in return. 22 years old and the kid had a ton of talent, that is really fucking sad...

Damn. R.I.P.

Sucks. I was at the game last night. Watched him pitch 6 shutout innings... only to have the bullpen lose the game for them.

Damn. waiting all your life for the big show... then this happens. It's horrible.

Wow, such a loss. I was t-boned by a drunk driver who fled the scene. My car saved my life, and I had some 2nd degree burns from my airbag. Her car broke in half about 100 yards down the fwy. At her court hearing she showed up in high heels and crutches and had no remorse whatsoever. The judge had no sympathy but she still got off easy imo.

I think there should be no leniency against habitual drunk drivers.

Yeah, it's a bad deal.

Just saw the press conference about this and I teared up. Don't drink and drive!

wow, very very sad! RIP Nick! hope people really stop drinking and driving. every day you see or hear another tragic story.
