Shit seems simple enough, two corn tortilla's just warmed (yet made fresh). Then some assorted meat which also cooks fast technically (marination time excluded) unless you like tongue, al pastor, etc. Which takes even more fucking time to cook right. Cilantro, onions are no problem, but then you need the salsa and some chopped up tomato crap just will not do so even more preparation. Of course then there are all of the optional salsas that you can add beyond what they put on and of course they are of different types and all made fresh. Will not even go into the chips, or beans as sides. So lets see 1.99 each (free chips and salsa) or hours and hours in the kitchen, perhaps up to a day or two if you add in marination times and such for everything. Ya um I will let them do those, and also typically let them also do tamales - which I will do on occasion. Just I have been known to cheat and buy assorted meat/sauces from them in the past. |
I have a roach coach up the road and havent tried it in the 3 or more years ive lived here until about two months ago...
So good!!! Plus they usually have the old classic coca colas in a bottle or even squirt. Truly a flavorful investment :thumbsup |

I also dig that ours (we have a couple trucks and then several sit downs) mostly use that instant type iced tea. Normally I would never touch it, but for some damn reason it is like comfort food. My wife goes for the horchata almost every time, I often go either for the tea or Jarritos (grapefruit, watermelon, or lime). |

I like the mandarine Jarritos you guys should road trip to TJ there is a club called "Texas Club" there, and although it is skany.. there is a taco cart at the end of the street. I would eat 6 to 10 of those little tacos everytime I went to TJ... and I was a private cook in the Navy. So I'm always skeptical :) Plus, all of you can come back post pics. :) ~Ray |
