Want to Live Longer?

Move to the country of Andorra!

http://edition.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/0...edition_europe

This tiny country is a tax haven and home to Global Accés S.L:)

Kiwigirl 04-24-2009 12:25 PM

Hmmmm, do they have good plastic surgeons?
Cos if I save on taxes I would spend more on chocolate and would require a huge amount of lipo! LMAO

JFK 04-24-2009 01:33 PM

I heard it's because their sun has less UV red and more UV blue in it.

You work it off walking to the store because the whole place is on an incline. lol What is even crazier is they sell cigarette bundles in giant bins on the sidewalk. 2 cartons shrink wrapped together with a free lighter for usually about 24 Euro. A pack costs around 2 Euro.

Booze is also pretty cheap to buy and there is no sales tax on anything.

True dat. 5 star hotels are inexpensive about 100EUR off season.

We drove through some of the resorts but I was there too early for snow. Interesting to see the lifts tho, you can see they take their skiing seriously!

I wonder where they put the cows though when it snows. There were a lot of em!

pictured their mountains being steeper for some reason...

Andorra is also the country with the most Mercedes Benz limos in the world per capita, I haven't really seen a lot of them though.
Here is some random pictures from the parking lot downtown (it's a popular place since the first hour of parking is free)

Majority of the mountains are, when you're in the main cities you're surrounded by steep mountain faces that look unscalable, but when you drive up a bit you can see the areas that are more suitable for skiing and hiking.

I've never felt so tiny before. The mountains are magnificent. Awesome that you know about the place, not very many folks do unless they either hide their money there, went skiing or shopping, or drove through it and didn't blink.:winkwink:

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh I don't need a car.
According to google maps I got 0.18655 miles to the office (if the 865 feet is converted correct) and about 0.2 miles to the airport shuttle bus, I got shopping and multiple restaurants on the way so I can't really complain :thumbsup

AGS-17 04-25-2009 12:02 AM

Andorra rocks. I went there on holiday with some friends who live in Toulouse, we camped, hiked, climbed and crawled around in the most breathtaking caves. Good memories :)

The road behind is the main road that goes through Andorra, it's the biggest road we got :thumbsup
It's still pretty bad ass getting that many ferrari's put together for a country that got only about 65-70K citizens

CNN just did a report on living longer. It said sex and naps will help you live longer. I'm trying to talk my wife into this.
