Meixco City earthquake?

As if they didn't have enough problems there already at the moment.

Are you asking something?

Tom_PM 04-27-2009 10:00 AM

If it starts raining frogs in mexico, I'm getting the hell out of here.

Yen_HerbalRevenue 04-27-2009 10:01 AM

Keep an eye out for swarms of locust too.

pornguy 04-27-2009 10:06 AM

The flu in Mexico is killing people that dont seek treatment or dont take precautions to avoid it..

it is sad how many people never get the shots they need even though they are free.

pornguy 04-27-2009 10:07 AM

Any of this on the NET? My son is watching Curious George

Tom_PM 04-27-2009 10:09 AM

You know whats really sad to see? Is our news running the loop of tape showing people standing there touching a giant pile of masks (that only help if someone sneezes mucus directly onto your face BTW).. and then people walking by touching the other persons hand while they take a mask..

Ummmmm.. thats NOT a good idea with a disease that spreads by human contact. Whats next, here have a drink from the community drinking cup? Do we ever learn anything?

Sarah_Jayne 04-27-2009 10:10 AM

BBC saying a 6 point something quake reported but not seeing the story elsewhere.

TampaToker 04-27-2009 10:26 AM

The Tourism Minister of Mexico must be jumping out a window about now.

All proportion...if London had a 6 point quake the place would be going nuts because it isn't common here to have a quake at all. Though, there have been two in the country since I have lived here.

Seriously...though I have actual heard some mumblings over here encouraging anybody going to North America at all to reconsider. So, USA and Canadian tourist offices must be hating this too.
