Cutting WMV files
Can someone recommend a decent program for cutting wmv files. Just need something to cut 20 second slices. I've tried a variety of programs so far, mainly freeware and they either don't cut exactly what's specified and I come out with 17, 18, 21 second chunks or they skew the aspect ratio. Programs either paid or free, recommend away, cheers!
Also if it can re-encode as it cuts the slice, that's a bonus :D |
I had the same problem until I tried adobe premiere. It just looks intimidating but its pretty basic.

I think you have Pc ? if yes you have windows movie maker so open it click on the left Import Video then after import drag it to the bottom to your timeline then play it and you wil see the time in the video window at the right then if you need the videos for 20 seconds long just wait for the time that is running and when it reach 20 seconds click the split icon that you see under you window videos that is playing and you done then remove the original and you have now 20 seconds long video the click Publish To This Computer at the left side and save it like you see by default and you now have you small video then save the project as make a name if you think you will need it for another project or something if you get lost, down there is my icq
