How to save a .txt file in notepad? Comp isn't letting me
 

All I want to do is paste some code into notepad, save it, upload it to my server, and rename it as an .htaccess file so that I can block a country....but my computer isn't letting me...

Can someone either help me out by telling me what the fuck to do or could you just paste the following code in notepad and email it to me?.....This shit is ridiculous

Curious, what happens when you try to save a txt file with notepad?

Under XP you can also use wordpad to save a txt file... not sure about Vista.

I think it's just some glitch on my own computer....the save box comes up but when I click save, nothing happens....the save box just stays there.

Did you put " around .htaccess - ".htaccess" - when you tried to save?
