But why?

Why is America the best? It's simple.

Last week I was in the post office. There was a Russian woman talking to the clerk, and she was sending a package back home to her mother in Russia. There was no discussion about her being Russian, a commie, no bad comments about her poor English, or the fact that clearly she wasn't born here. We accept people from every race, country, and nationality and embrace them with open arms. Yeah, I know we have our faults, and for years we discriminated against many races, but as a country, over all, we are more accepting than any other country.

Take a look at how many Muslims we have here in the United States, and compare that to how many of these Muslims have committed terrorist acts against the United States.

That's makes the United States the best.

The US is definitely a great country. But it also has much room for improvement. When the prettiest girl at the ball goes around telling everyone how pretty she is, she doesn't look so hot anymore.

Yes, we treated ours just as badly. We also locked up our first nations/indians/natives in Catholic reserve systems that proved quite detrimental to their well-being. Nobody is perfect, and both our countries have a bunch of growing to do. At the same time, they're both pretty awesome places to live and try to make better for everyone.

Why do you use the Olympics as an example? China actually "won" the last Olympics but America used its own systen to judge points, every other country used the official Olympics way of judging which has always been used, but the media in America invented their own style which made you come out best.

I like Spain, Italy and the Czech Republic a bit more, but NOTHING beats NYC!

I think you need to travel to more countries. Most first world countries are no different and have similar levels of immigration and acceptance of migrants.

I've done a lot of travel and every country thinks they're the best. Every single one. There is no objective standard of what makes a country the best. The best country is the one you prefer to live in, and contrary to what you may believe, most people are perfectly happy where they are.

New Orleans? please, it is very complicated and not like that at all. NO is so much more diverse than people think. It really, really is. It is LESS racist than Southern California where I am from.

However poor people get treated like shit everywhere. This country gives people the opportunity to achieve plenty, and there are lots and lots of people here in Nola that have done exactly that. All colors.

Well our Muslim populations tend to integrate and not try to take over or get all super weird like most every other country they immigrate into.
The US also has a very long waiting list for people to enter as both citizens and on visa's.
Either our PR department kicks ass or something, because if you ask people, especially underprivileged what country would you want to go to if given the choice odds are you will get the US/America as the top answer.
Hate us or love us, seems every other country expects the US to step up for or by itself in any and every crisis or need for money.
Our currency is pretty much accepted and recognised for what it is anywhere on the planet and non currency brokers (average citizens) will accept it.
Our homeless still have a better standard of living than many countries lower classes and leaps above some other countries homeless - and I think we treat ours like crap.

Yes we have many faults, we have many issues, we have many failures. I have also traveled many places. I do love my country and my only main super gripe happened when we changed our stance by being proactive with war or whatever you want to call it.

I have to say having visited many countries so far. USA is the worst for women. I saw 2 amazing looking girls in New York, no joke. In Denmark I lost count in the first 5 minutes, again I am not exaggerating.
I dont care about anything else. Just the women.

My suggestion is to ask the millions of people who try to break in every year.
