Warning Pages

I've noticed that some sites have warning pages, while others don't.

Are warning pages or messages required? If so, to what extent?

Thats something that you should speak with an attorney about.

Although it honestly does not hurt toooo much to have one.

if you want to be safe in the business i would consider a warning page or putting a 2257 link :2 cents:

I don't think it's required but it's good to have some. Personally, I prefer some javascript pop-up instead.

I own a tube scraper site, so I don't host anything other than tiny thumbnails.

Do I need to post 2257's for them?

The requirement of warning pages are also depends on country where your hosting is located.

Some countries have rules about adult sites - and warning page is required.

In the US COPA is dead and warning pages as a contract are useless. You should have a client-thru contract. Warning pages may be useful from a good neighbor policy but legally in the US they are worthless.

As for 2257, it depends. It really is based on your business model. With the changes to 2257, you should talk to an attorney about this. Safe money says yes though.
