Any suggestions on adult marketing? Any good tips or advice?

Looking for some good ways to help market niche specific websites such as: teens, anal, big boobs and so.

I am starting to use marketing ideas suck as:
- blogging once a day
- submitting my websites URL to the search engines once every 3 months or so
- trading hard links
- hired someone to list my URLs on 200 directories.

Now what?
Any help or advice you can share?
What works for you?

Simply put in a lot of quality work time.
Don't be foolish, keep your ideas simple and effective.
Stats don't lie.
Re-invest for growth, not greed.
You already know what you need to do.

Step 1. Get rid of the money based avatar. All such cash/money newbies end up as failures.
Step 2. Do not submit to the main search engines.
Step 3. Read up on A B C D type link trades.
Step 4. Look into micro niches and skip the mainstream porn niches.
Step 5. Stop paying people to do things for you early on.

The first thing you need to do is what all successful webmasters do at first. Eat and sit around until you are really fucking fat, get a money grubbing twat of a girlfriend, and develop a 30k/mo cocaine and sushi habit. The rest is easy.

Hi Adultebusiness,

Here are a few tips:

- Market only what you know and love. If your fetish is FEET for example, then stick to marketing feet. Only a foot lover knows what other foot lovers want in websites, and no one can market to foot lovers better than other foot lovers. Pick a niche and stick with it.

- Experiment! Try all kinds of ideas : SEO, Galleries, Blogs, traditional - and see what works for you.

- Ask the experts!

- Go to trade shows such as http://www.qwebec.com and http://www.internext-expo.com and learn from others over drinks and hand shakes!

- When marketing any website, go to the first competitor's site you can think of. Then ask yourself WHY did you think of them? Or how did you find them? Can you apply the WHY and HOW to your own business?

Good luck!

Best piece of advice is, don't follow the advice any other webmasters give you. They are only trying to put you out of the game early on.

Post on gfy and sit back, soon you will be fedexed cash rolled up in newspapers.

Dont expect things to happen over night. Keep building and working hard and the cash will come.

nice thread :) ... I remember the first advice I got back in the days....

"Get out of adult cause this shit is so heavy that when it goes down is going to take down a whole lotta people and will squash you like a bug"

Oh yeah... dat was a hell of an advice alright!....needless to say I am here for the hoochies! :)

Your find in this industry people will not tell you what they are doing or how they make money. If they did, then you could steal a piece of their pie and thats not health for their bank accounts.

Just keep your head down and try not to become the surfer, think like a surfer, but don't be one.

Momentum and perseverance are key.

It should also go without saying that you need a unique and quality product.

Your best marketing employee is yourself - a paid employee can't market with the same level of enthusiasm and confidence as you.

If you're serious, think of ways to conduct guerilla marketing - think outside the box and be creative. Don't limit yourself to the same-'ole marketing ploys that the surfers have long grown weary of. On average surfers are becoming more wise and sophisticated to the old ways of getting them hooked.
