I had one phone before the StarTac but can't remember what it was.

Motorola 4500. Fucker put out 1/4 watt and had an (in)convienent carry bag. The huge mass on the bottom is the lead acid battery. Had to weigh at least 20lbs. |

My first ever was the StarTac. I was just out of High School. It was a piggy back on my parents account. No one I knew at the time had their own cell phone. It was still pager city.

I worked for a cell phone company back in I think 91 or so. Had one of the motorola bag phones first plus a purple pager lol. Then I moved on to the Motorola non flip phone. I actually still have that one. It looked like a motorola flip phone without the flip part. Kind of like a wedge.
