Mike,

I would of loved to have gotten garypayton.com "The Glove"

It would of been the best fan site out there :)

Glad you like him :) LOL

The nba and the city of seattle let us down - and of course the former starbucks ceo but oh well - I predict a new sonics within 5 yrs or so.

Thats why basketball is so much fun. Most people thought the Lakers were done down 5 with :30 seconds left.

Drake 06-11-2009 10:31 PM

15+ turnovers
Many missed critical freethrows
Just bad basketball - giving Fisher the open three-point

It's a shame, because Orlando has a lot of potential.

As for the Lakers, Kobe has finally evolved into a team player.

Mutt 06-11-2009 10:39 PM

two games blown by Orlando - hard to say 'should' but really this could easily be a 3-1 Orlando lead in the series. I'm not a Kobe hater, he's the best player since Jordan - to win a championship without Shaq where he's carried a team all season and playoffs long is nice.

Orlando's gonna be a powerhouse - i think they're actually better than the Lakers right now but youth and inexperience has let two wins get away from them. A healthy Jameer Nelson might have made a big difference as well.

lol...would have been a cool site, although I'm not a big fan - I prefer team players to "stars" lol

I liked him at UConn...I *love* him as a Celtic :) He's an incredible player who also personifies "team" - what we've been all about since I was a little kid watching Russell, Havlicek, Sam and KC Jones...and on from there :)

I hope so...Seattle and its fans deserved better, and the NBA should be ashamed of itself for letting it happen. (But thank god we lost the lottery and Greg Oden lol)

No doubt about it - watching them come back to win the series when we had them in the grave back in the second round showed me they had not only talent but the internal makeup to be great...experience is just about all that's missing (and maybe about 5000 free throws a day by "Superman" during the off-season).

I'll agree with that.

That's true of just about every series that isn't a sweep. There are always those moments when things can go either way. That said though Lakers are just better and that is big part of why things have gone their way in the close games.

Orlando is very good but this always happens to teams. Usually they have to make it to the finals and lose before breaking through all the way. One big problem for Orlando though is Lewis' contract. Going to make it very hard to resign Hedo.

Series isn't over though. I said 4-2 Lakers from the start. If they can pull themselves back together they should be able to get another win and send it back to LA.

BAKO 06-12-2009 03:23 AM

Orlando sucks fucking dick

No.

Offensively and defensively the Lakers have outplayed Orlando throughout the season. The stats don't lie.

While Orlando is a good team, the Lakers finally have that synergy that will be tough to beat.

I'm not saying that Howard and crew can't do it, but right now, based on stats, I think the series will end on Sunday.
