How do you think things would be going if McCain/Palin had won the election?
Better or worse?
|
Worse...
WAAAAAAAYYYY WORSE!!!!! |
i don't dare to imagine
|
Iran's rigged election = terrorism. Would have been enough to launch a war there I'm sure.
|
|
ik sticky thred
|
Worse worse and more worse
|
That would be tough to guess since there isn't any way to determine the diff. But...
Since Obama's inauguration the national debt has increased by $779,135,910,970 I'm still waiting for the promised "Change" |
I think it would probably be worse. Not because I think Palin is a nutjob - she is, but she would be the VP. I think McCain probably was capable of doing the job to some degree. The reason I think it would be worse is that the democrats would have been so pissed off that they would have him handcuffed. They would have fought tooth and nail over his cabinet nominees and right now would be turning themselves inside out over the idea of him putting someone on the supreme court. Anything that he did they would have opposed and I would guess that they would do whatever they could to keep him a lame duck so that they could win in 4 years.

Republicans increased the national debt under bush by 4 trillion - and that's not counting all the real costs they deferred, like the costs for the wars, and the senior drug bill. When you cut taxes and increase spending and borrow, you've actually INCREASED taxes, because now the costs have to be paid back with interest. All the republican claims of lowering taxes and controlling costs were always lies. Lies we now have to pay for. So stop being a fucking crybaby. This is what the republicans wanted, this is what they gave the country, a ruined economy, massive debt, and a giant pile of hidden bills that have to be paid. |
Not much would be different really, except liberals would be saying "see, it is just more of the same" instead of "it has only been five months".

There wouldn't be much noticeable difference right now, because changing things takes time.
The difference will be 2-4 years from now, when different specific policies and the attitude and direction of government overall has permeated through the whole system. |
Yeah man, I mean it's 6 months and he hasn't dug us out of that 8 year hole yet?????
WTF???? |

I think based on the comments with the letterman .Porn would be very fucked with her as VP. For Mccain it would of gave her something to focus on and that way she would of left him alone.
