Rush Limbaugh Rules!

Republicans: Are you happy that a racist, sexist, and homophobic 350 pound drug addict now rules the republican party as it's de-facto leader?

seeandsee 06-18-2009 04:45 AM

yeahhhhhhhhh!

Pleasurepays 06-18-2009 06:04 AM

according to who? democrats?

are you aware that limbaugh does not identify with the republican party? do you even understand the difference between "conservative" and "republican"?

furthermore, do you really want a president that continues to take time out of his busy day of being president while Iran is imploding, N Korea is threatening nuclear war, the economy is in shambles... to personally attack/address a "racist, sexist, 350 pound drug addict"?

Slutboat 06-18-2009 07:51 AM

Like rats off a sinking ship lifelong republicans are now trying to distance themselves from the devastation inflicted upon this nation by the Bush Crime Family by calling themselves "conservatives" - as if this distinction is anything other than silly semantics.

Recent poll numbers show 20 percent of Americans self identifying as republicans...sit back and watch the implosion.

JC Maldini 06-18-2009 07:59 AM

Don't worry both parties have spent soo much money and f@#% things up so bad that in 4 years the independents and libertarians are going to throw both parties out of office :thumbsup:thumbsup

Oh btw:

40% of Americans interviewed in national Gallup Poll surveys describe their political views as conservative.

ha! OR - "daddy, what's a republican?" circa the year 2020

CamJack 06-18-2009 08:49 AM

I actually listen to him everyday after Howard Stern. It is absolutely incredible how he can spin some of the news into his agenda. He is a shill plain and simple. If you wanna listen to him online he's on noon to 3pm east coast time, he truly is a master of utter bullshit.

Yea most sane people didn't give a fuck about that Jabba the Hut piece of shit until now where he has emerged as the sole leader of the burning wreckage of what was once the GOP.. He is literally dictating the policy and the talking points to the Republican leaders in congress, none of whom will step out of line with his crazed agenda for fear of his wrath, not even bat shit crazy GOP "chairman" Michael Steele

LAJ 06-18-2009 09:25 AM

Does he really weigh 350 lbs still? I thought the drugs helped him shave off some weight...

Slutboat 06-18-2009 09:43 AM

Yea maybe he should switch his flavor of choice. He could benefit from associating with a few porn girls I know. :)

Well considering how many republicans lately have been apologizing to him lately its not a stretch.

CamJack 06-18-2009 10:56 AM

The Republicans are in such trouble with Cheney piping in, Palin off the handle with the Dave Letterman incident, and Rush Limbaugh everyday spewing verbal garbage. The cherry on top the extreme religious right pushing people out of the party in record numbers.

I think the only good thing that the Republicans have going for them is Fox News.

For the past 8 years the Republicans have had free reign over the United States, and they bankrupted it. It is hilarious to hear them criticize ANYTHING that Obama is trying to do.

Rush is probably stil super fat. Going OFF the drugs typically makes people gain a ton of weight.

In my eyes the massive election defeats of the last two years has caused the republican party to splinter into four different groups.

group 1 - I call them the social fascist. These are the ones led by Palin and Huckabee and who have decided that the only way the party will get back in power is to shift far back to the right on social issues. They want to ramp up the culture war and work hard to convince the conservative Christians that the liberals will take away their guns then once they are unarmed they will impregnate their underage daughters only to force them to get abortions and marry another girl.

group 2- These are the big business republicans. They are led by guys like Romney and Giuliani. They want to calm down on the social issues and focus more on the financial side of things. They want to build the party around balancing the budget, spending money wisely and cutting taxes.

group 3 - This is the "we are against it" group. This is the group that Limbaugh leads. They don't really have much of an agenda, but if the democrats are for it, they are against it.

group 4 - The "new" conservatives. These are the ones who now don't want to be known as republicans, but still consider themselves conservative. They say they are looking to someone like Ron Paul as a leader, but also claim they are more independent. Mostly it seems these are the people who don't like the democrats, but are annoyed by the republicans as well.

Basically the republicans are in the same place as the democrats were about 20 years ago when they were having trouble winning elections and they had no real agenda. The democrats plan turned out to be basically one where they did very little and just let the republicans screw up then swooped in and said, "They suck, see how bad they did, pick us." I guess only time will tell if the republicans will do the same.

The time is right for a third party. There are enough independents and scorned republicans out there that could be attracted to a legit third party contender. I don't know how far that party could go as far as winning seats in the house and senate or challenging the white house, but it could create a strong beginning. Somehow, though, I doubt that is going to happen. As much as people say they want change, they really don't.

It makes no sense to blame the critic. Blame the culprits: Congress!

Well everytime a Republican politician or party leader says something negative about Rush they have to go on his show the next day and beg for apology. I can't think of any other person who has that much power over Republicans.

So What IS going on Smart Guy? What a cheap shot cop out to call someone clueless yet offer no opinions of your own. So your Auzzie? Please take back that asshole scurge of propagandist Rupert Murdock. His fake news organization is the laughing stock of the media world, he is recognized worldwide as the single leading cheerleader for the Cheney/Bush Crime Regime and one of the main forces behind the duping of the American people into allowing the illegal and immoral invasion of Iraq and the mass murder of thousands of Iraqi women and children. He is a complicit enabler of war crimes and needs to be prosecuted or ran out of this nation. Please take him back down under to the land of the fattest ugliest women on earth, we don't want him any more.

On a more positive note, you guys do have some good waves.

Paul seems to have gotten more popular since the first of this year than he ever was during the election. That said the problem I can see with group 4 going forward is that when the next presidential election comes around many of them will be seduced away by either Ron Paul clones or other candidates who have a better chance of getting elected.

I personally think the group that has the best overall chance of success is the Romney led big business group. They will be social conservative to makes some members of group 1 happy and they will be business focused so they can bring in some of group 4. If Obama's plans all work and we end up with a strong economy and good national health care we still have to figure out how to pay for that and they could come in in 8 years with a solid plan for balancing the budget and win.

You've just described the typical republican, water seeks its own level.
