About how long it seems that the ones I am buying in the stores are failing fast so If I can reuse them maybe 10 to 12 times or more then they are well worth it.
|
All my game controllers are rechargeable.
We spent a nice chunk on a recharger and collection of batteries for the kids toys. The Mouse units I use all came with multiple batteries and charging docks. They might not last as long, but they are much more cost effective if you've got lots of gadgets. |
Go to your local Radio Shack store. They have everything you need.

But thanks for the info guys. |
Typical rechargeable batteries kind of suck. Eneloop and others like them are a lot better, they last longer. It's also a good idea to get a decent battery recharger, a cheap one can wear out the batteries or damage them.

Eneloop is available at Costco. I've been using them for a while. When you have R/C toys its the only way to go since they eat batteries up like crazy.

I got the set from Costco that I use for mice/keyboards, flashes on camera and a few other things and they have worked great for well over a year.

Lately I prefer the Energizer 2000maH nimH dbl-AAs (green label) in my older dslr. They hold a helluva charge.

Yeah, that's the ones I got from coscto.

I use them, but I don't really care about the brand, I had stamina issues each brand.

I only use rechargeable's PG. Anything else is a watse of money imo.
|
I use C.F.L. 2600maH and they are really good.
I have some older too (2000maH, 2200maH). I also have some GP and Ansmann but they are not that good... Very important thing is to use charger that has discharge functions, so he first discharges the battery completely and than charge it and that keeps the memory effects and extends battery life and capacity... |
I bought nimh in bulk on eBay. nimh (nickel metal hyride) last a lot
longer than the old fashioned nicad (nickel cadmium). I bought something like 30 AA and 16 AAA, enough for most everything I use. |
