*ICQ Issues* Sorry if I havent responded to YOU...Pls HELP
 

So... a number of people have told me they've hit me up on ICQ in the last few days BUT I have NOT received their IMs...I do not believe these individuals to be BS'ing me so something's up with my ICQ.

IS THERE A WAY TO UPDATE ICQ SO THAT IT IS MORE EFFICIENT? Or is this something that just happens?

What version are you using now?

Hmmm...I have an old version on this comp (work comp) and the newer one on my laptops. How can I see which one I have?

Check in Main, then Help, then About ICQ and it should show you the version.

The newest version is 6.5 (and there is a good banner remover for it already too that makes it much more like old versions)

Well, on my version it says at the top of the ICQ window

I just checked I have 6.0 - but has this happened to any of you before? Weirdest thing I tell ya...

Could be partially due to the fact that ICQ has been slowly rolling out the 6.5 upgrade for the past several days at least.
