It's not just you, I've been seeing it too. One of our expat friends that used to work for CJ back in the Atlanta days passed away in his sleep too last week. Kinda creepy... someone must have let the Grim Reaper's door open :Oh crap

3 teenagers in my town were killed a few days ago by a drunk driver. Another older guys was murdered and there were a few more that I don't remember.

Well in music I'd say that Sept. 1970 to July 1971 was a pretty bad run
Joplin, Morrison, and Hendrix all within months of one another and all just 27 years old.
