I'm looking for a good hotel in Shanghai
 

I'll be travelling to the opening of the World Expo next year in Shanghai and want to make a reservation now while good rooms are still available.

Looking in the $80 to $100 a night price range for a business hotel.

Any suggestions?

What should I be looking to see and do as well?

I know of some good serviced apartments that have just been completed if that's any good.

What part of town do you plan to stay in? If you can stay near the Bund, it is very nice around there. Great views on the river.

I stayed at a hotel call Jin Jiang Tower. Really modern and clean rooms, I think it was like $100 a night or something with a city view. theres also a really cool revolving restuarant at the top of the tower. Its not on the bund, but in a nice area. Tons of shopping and 500 massage parlors within walking distance. youre only minutes from the Bund by taxi. Taxis are cheap.

You ever track down the barber shop brothels? SLEAZY shit, but some super hot girls in there. :thumbsup

Looks like its going to be some fun, some business, and lots of glitz.

dont think so, but being a gwai-lo (sp??) i had some of the hottest chicks following me from the street all the way up to my hotel room door, 30 floors up. I usually kept one and told the rest to come back the next night.
