Cleaning Fail : Hotel Westin Element Booked
 

So. I fail at cleaning and had a panic attack this morning about the house not being ready for my parents.. and my dogs ruining shit by either peeing on it or chewing it up...

So I scored a Westin Element for like 70ish/night.. with some coupons and using my amex... saved over 50%

now they don't have to sleep on an air mattress :) (all I have are twin beds in my spare bedrooms)....

and I don't have to freak out about my baseboards being clean...

Hahahaha.. You should see some of the deals you can get here in Cancun.

RIU which has one of the most exclusive hotels here has 3 smaller ones.. They Closed all three for a few months and if you had a reservation for one you get auto upgraded to the PALACE.. From a 110$ a night room to a 340$ And the rooms are NICE! No extra charges.

Cancun will be our next trip.. lol

The night I went to the Britney concert.. we got a free upgrade to the Governor's Suite at the Four Seasons downtown.. now that was sweet! The thing was like 1700 sq ft... and lil ol pink haired, redneck me.. sticking my 20th floor key in the elevator.. lol

We also got the honeymoon suite for free once at the Polynesian @ Disney.

It NEVER hurts to ask... or inquire about upgrades..

Wow, the Riu is hurting that bad in Cancun? We were going to go to a Riu in PV later this year... I may have to check it out :)

A friend of mine just got back from a vacation at the Riu Caribe in Cancun. He said he had a great time. I think he paid a a little over $800 all in from Toronto; his friend flew from Vancouver for about $100 more.
