Hey guys thought I would share with you all Lars and the kitty toy. I bought this kitty toy for the kitties and Lars went nuts when I pulled it out of the bag to play with the kitties. I mean NUTS. He was crazy obsessed. So I took him outside and started to play with him and he was insane chasing it. I took some snap shots and thought I would share!!! :)

At the end are a few pics of the place I take the dogs every morning and every evening. They wake me up at 6am every morning and around 6pm they start jumping on me. I swears dogs have internal clocks. haha The place is a little less than half a mile down the road from my house, were the giant houses that are in the golf community I live in, are located. (one day I will move up to them haha) Anyway, great views of the city from there.

The last pic is of the puppies going back to the truck. That is their truck only. The back seat is never up. They love that truck. They even sleep in it sometimes. It's their base. I put a big moving blankie in the back for them, so it's extra cozy!!! :)

Some of the expressions on my face, while playing with Lars, are funny. You can't tell but he is hauling ass, and when a 100 pound German Shepard lands on your foot, or hits your leg it will bring you to the ground and hurt. So I had to watch it!!! LOL

I have vids too but I have to play with them first. I hope you enjoy!!! :)

Great pics, looks like a good time. I had no idea your dog was 100 lbs, that's about 35 lbs heavier than my old dog was. I bet he eats a lot of chow.

Every time I take him to that spot that is the first thing he does. Pee then Poop. Like clock work!!!

I am so waiting for the bite too!!! I know it's going to happen one day. He is INSANE obsessed. he wouldn't even take a break from it to drink water. I had to put the top in the water and hold it there for him. Poor guy!!! haha

Knowing what I know about the kind of crap that dog went through before becoming yours Loryn it's really great to see him getting such great play time and having so much fun. I bet the attention he gets from you is like heaven to him.

One day I'll break down and get myself another pooch. For now I'll live vicariously through you.

Finally a happy thread! All those other troubled ones were bringing me and my dog down :)

That's a beautiful dog. Those are the favorite of everyone in my family except me as I like Goldens. My parents had one and when I was born and they said the dog was super gentle with me and very protective. Just awesome dogs all around.

Thank you Mr. Smith. I always look at Larsies face and think about what he must have went through and how lonely he must have been. I give him kisses, treats, and then play play play. We have a new game now, called "Get the birdies." These doves sometimes get on the grass to eat the bird seed that has fallen down from the bird feeder onto the lawn. When I see the birds on the lawn, I'll go get Lars and say to him "Larsies there are birds outside let's go get'm" he jumps up we run to the door together, and then I open the door real fast and say "Get'm Larsies get'm" He shoots out that door so fast chasing them with this real low growl. And then I clap my hands real loud and say "Good boy Larsies, you tell those birds this is YOUR house." He trots back into the house with his big doggie head so high. He gets so proud of himself. He just loves that game. Now all I have to do is say, "Larsies where the birds" and bam he is up and at the door. LOL

I can't wait for you to save another pooch. It really will make you feel great, which I am sure you know. But until you are ready you can have Larsies and me!!!

You should!!! In today's world, you can basically research the type of dog you would like, one that would fit your personality, and find a rescue place that saves that breed of dog. There are a lot of great dogs out there who need to be saved and loved. Of course the pound always has the best loving dogs. Poor Larsies was in doggie jail for 6 months. He is amazing!!! :)

Love this picture. First thought he looks like he is tap dancing. He is a beautiful dog and so glad he is doing well. I am loving my little pup but got to admit I do miss having a big dog. I could never give my little girl up the way she just gazes up at me and falls asleep in my arms just like a baby.

I have a nothing little camera that is 6.1 megapix. I need a new one with a great recorder. I have videos but I hate my voice so I don't want to share them on GFY!!! LOL

She is so fucking cute. I have always wanted to get a little dog, never had one. I am so rough I am scared I would hurt him. I love Mini Pins and Papillons. You little girl looks like one!!! I would just kiss that little face all over!!! You can get a kitty toy and play with her and take pics. It would be so cute, like a mini Lars!!! haha

I was the same way. Before her I don't think I have ever had a dog under 75 pounds. But she is tough as nails. Nothing scares her. The other day she tried to jump from the couch to the coffee table. She didn't quite make it, hit the coffee table and fell on the floor. She jumped right up and barked at the table like it did something to her. She jumps off everything no matter how high. Took her to the fireworks and she never flinched no matter how loud they got. Just stared up into the sky and then fell asleep during the finale.
