Excluding Analytics, What do you use for Site Stats?

I'm looking to replace Analytics, but it would be nice to have a replacement that provided good info comparable to Analytics.

What do all you pros use for stats on your sites?

HomerSimpson 07-14-2009 07:20 PM

I use www.statcounter.com

Robocrop 07-14-2009 07:21 PM

Awstats.

Machete_ 07-14-2009 07:23 PM

Awstats

Serverlogs are the only thing you can count on 100%

OrangeContent 07-14-2009 07:27 PM

Awstats seems to be the popular choice at the moment.

Has anyone used Awstats, then switched to another for some reason and would like to share their insight for the change over?

CYF 07-14-2009 07:58 PM

I used webalizer years and years ago.

I switched to awstats probably five years ago.

the "Click-to-Chat" would be a great tool if it really works

statcounter all the way

candyflip 07-15-2009 06:06 AM

I have a bunch of MINT licenses that I use on a few sites. That's probably my favorite.

Twoface31 07-15-2009 06:33 AM

i could suggest hitslink thats good replace for google analytic

dav3 07-15-2009 06:58 AM

I'm checking out statcounter right now. The free limit they offer gets used up too quick though, probably gonna try something else after I wake up. I like statcounter though, especially how easy it is to see the click paths, something that wasn't in Analytics (at least not that I've seen).

I was going to use Awstats, downloaded it, looked at the readme and it was all jumbled and didn't tell how to install it (im a noob i know). I kinda just want something that I can slap some code in the page and be done.

Thanks for the replies, and feel free to keep the suggestions coming.
