Real Strange Car Insurance Phone Call I Got
I get a phone call from some guy from a claims tracking company about an insurance claim I put in on a car I dont even own any more. And the weird thing is I have never put an insurance claim for an accident because I have never had one in the car.
I Tell him I have no idea what he is talking about and that I dont own the car anymore. He then says that the call is being recorded. I tell him again that I have never put in for a claim and I dont own the car anymore. Then he says this will be put down on records or something to that effect. I said fine but I have no idea what its all about. He then says thank you for your time and that they wont bother me again ..very strange :helpme |
Sounds like bullset.
Public records are available whenever you sell a vehicle; I've been getting a whole bunch of "EXTEND YOUR WARRANTY" on a car I sold in April, but before then, nothing. Yep, even the DMV sells your metrics, or someone tied to them do. |

wonder how they have your records and could remember your card :) u're probably in some weird databases or one of those "were not gonna sell our lists to anyone"

probably some scam, he saw you that you weren't biting, so he hung up...:2 cents:

You must have done some service on it before and given your mobile, and that info was sold. |

If you have EVER sold a car on craigslist, ebay, etc. your shit most likely got found by someone collecting leads for this. They're trying to sell you shit or trying to scam you.
