Adwords and fake clicks?
 

I just found out that one of my NATs sponsors shows only about 50% of clicks I got from paid campaign on adwords, according to the adwords stats. While my other NATs sponsors shows almost 95-98% of clicks from adwords.

I remember reading somewhere about adwords overinflating clicks, but on the other side, it could be also a problem on the side of sponsor.
really hard to tell.

if everything is in check with your other sponsors, it's most likely the affiliate program.

if their bot is crawling your ads that may look like its clicks in your affiliate program, but not in adwords. Google is pretty good with catching click fraud, ive never heard of them "over inflating clicks" :1orglaugh i think you have to watch were your getting your info from.

it's just not in google's best interest to send fake clicks, why would they? it's more than likely just shitty tracking on the affiliate program's end, not exactly something uncommon.

I can confirm 100 percent ..adword ghost clicks ...how ? well we had clicks going to live girls/chat so we could of course see what was hitting us in real time......

Results :

Approx every 3 hours or so we would have a small batch of rapid ghost clicks over a 10 minute plus period..overall it amounted to about 10-15 percent of our weekly clicks....

This happened over 6 months of trials and l concluded it was small teams that hit different advertisers in rotation for small amounts of time....(complained but got nowhere so dropped them)

So if you allow for say 20 percent max scrapped clicks and can still make $$$ its fine ...

Just my findings.......

its most likely bots hitting your ads and indexing your ad copy. ive seen it done frequently, similar to sites like keywordspy.

of course if you try and talk to them they will do nothing. even when i send stuff to my rep it comes back with some canned response. instead contact your credit card company with proof and dispute the charge. Ive won over $2,000 this year alone
