People keep talking about "Obama's health care plan"
 

...when there is not any Obama plan. He nor his administration presented Congress with a plan. The Congress...both the House and the Senate are working on a plan...which may or may not ever get passed and...if or when it does the President may or may not sign the bill.

besides.. obamacare sounds better than pelosicare or reidcare

That's the beauty of attacking the "Obama health care plan", you can say almost anything you want about it and nobody can fact check you on it. (since no Obama plan exists)

So you can scare seniors into thinking it includes euthanasia (this has actually been done) and all kinds of diabolical things like that.

I guess maybe that's still better for the Prez than actually putting a specific plan out there that the republicans can nitpick at on cable all day.

You may be right...except that the Republicans and Republican leaning media talking heads keep calling the plans the House and the Senate are working on the Obama plan.

Yes and that's exactly what's great about it for them.

There are like 5 different bills out there, that will eventually get reconciled with one another, and Obama hasn't specifically endorsed any individual bill.....but when the talking heads want to bash "obamacare" they get to use the tax number from the bill with the biggest tax increase, the cost number from the most expensive bill, the number of people covered from the bill that offers the least coverage, etc etc.

They get to point out the weak parts of each bill and try and hang them all around Obama's neck as if he wrote and endorsed each bill.

Intellectually dishonest, but effective. Pretty much standard republican M.O for the past two decades.
