It would be hard for him not to succeed as North Korea said they would release the journalists to Bill Clinton a while back.

Which is nothing new. Carter has been sent, along with Governors (Richardson), Jesse Jackson, among many others over history for similar types of situations. Obama is no different from Bush, Reagan, or others throughout history.

It is a non-issue at best on a slow news day.
