how does your business add value on the internet?
with the net changing so much in this world, i think with the new value proposition its offering, it will continue to increase the value and relevant information consumers get
* changing part of the print media model, small online media sources getting stronger * changed the music model * allowing iranians to communicate to the rest of the world * tube sites coming out is changing some of the model for paysites, lowering the value proposition for some sites and their content, marketing methods, etc * Facebook getting larger and people can actually start getting information and suggestions from their layers of friends/associates vs. googlebot so in this new world, and more so in the future, for the most part, if you dont have an excellent customer service system + a value proposition thats in line with what your customers need, its going to be tough |
i was reading the below about SE on another board and ultimately, there will be systems configured that will bring what the consumer wants to their eyes as quickly as possible
so best strategy is to figure out how and where you can add and build up the value (to your customer) Think from a search engines perspective - what do I want to see from inbound links. Links ARE CREDIBILITY. As fabuluous and efficient as Googles algorithms are, they cannot measure webpages like a human. A link however, must be seeded BY a human - a 'mark of approval' if you like. Backlinks is one of the factors Google and others measure human appreciation of a page (other factors may include time spent on page/away from search engine results page, depth of visit, number of times visitors return to site etc.). Buying links isn't going to add value. Try substituting 'credibility' for links - you can't BUY credibility can you.. |
lets put it like this, 2 million (give and take) people a day can't be wrong right?
there you have it, there must be some value we are offering ;)) |
