Job help in Arizona

I have a family friend that would like to relocate to Arizona for health reasons and was wondering if anyone here had any good leads for jobs?

3 great girls...46, 24, 4

Obviously the jobs would be for the grand mother and daughter and not the 4 year old :)

Thanks :thumbsup

Right now the job market sucks totally. This may not be such a good time to be moving here.

I know it stinks...their situation up in Maine is no better but they sold their home and need to relocate somplace. We were thinking AZ because of the weather and the Grandmothers health but I hear you about it being a tough job market.

That is why I am looking on the GFY hookup :thumbsup

I can understand moving for health issue to a drier climate. There are allot of opportunities as far as a home goes as there are great deals to be had at this time due to the foreclosures. If you relocate to Phoenix, be careful of the areas you look in.

For employment info:

I would try adecco, they are used by large corporations here in Phoenix to hire on temp workers. I know where my wife works, they use this company and some of the temps get hired on full time after they have shown their work performance.

Thanks very much for all the suggestions. I will def pass along the info. It's help like this that makes this place great!

As far as homes and areas...what do you mean by be careful of the areas you look in? Anything in particular to lookout for?

Thanks :thumbsup

Well they had a bait business for over 15 years...long story but her ex sabotaged it and the company went from VERY health to Zero income.

Both the mother and Daughter are very entrepreneurial and can adapt and do anything. I was looking into getting them started in AZ for my mainstream Real Estate company but I am not setup with the infrastructure that they would need to get things going asap. Plus they need something more stable than a RE comish job now.

They are computer savvy but not to the level that guys on here are but could be great afil reps etc.

No problem, if you have any more, feel free to ask.

There are some areas of town that may not appear to be so bad, but at night the rif raft comes out. The west side of town is not too good. I have friends that live over there that are trying to move to the north side of phoenix.
South phoenix is not so good either. I am sure if you get with a realtor, they will take you in the right direction.

The bad thing is, is that there are great neighborhoods inside of these areas of town I mentioned above. You just have to be careful of areas you may move into.

Good luck with your search. ;)
