best apple programs?

Last month i finally jumped into the world of apple. bought a macbook pro, and i just love it, i never get on my other 2 computers anymore at all.

i have gotten adjusted pretty well, but now just curious if there are any programs out there that i really should check out.

what apple programs could you not live without?

I keep thinking about buying photoshop but for what i need Gimp being open source works perfectly. I may buy aperture this week.

Aperture is a good program, but iPhoto does a good enough job.
You'll need Transmission for torrents
