SEO Tips ... Blogs are soooo yesterday..

Yep ... you guys are not going to like this but I would not be me if I did not share my knowledge with the community.

Blogs are about to lose value big time in google ... I would say somewhere around a 60% drop in overall worth

..however .. there is a replacement :)

I have an SEO tip too.

Walk into Best Buy, ask them for the latest season of Law and Order: SVU, then strip naked and take a big healthy shit on the iphone display.

Instant page one SERP's guaranteed!

Free SEO Tip: Use the same non-descriptive title on all of your site's pages!

Jarmusch 09-03-2009 06:56 AM

Text tube sites are gonna take over blogs.

You heard it here first.

Another Free SEO Tip: Repeat the same word over and over again hundreds of times on the page you want to rank highly for that word in Google. Google likes emphasized pages like that.

Same color as the background is a safe way to do It so that the surfers are not bothered.

Why did blogs become so powerful in the first place?

Because PUSSYSERVER said they would.

Inside Google headquarters there is a giant screen that updates every time PUSSYSERVER types something.

Why were blogs given so much weight in the first place?

Just wondering if you're going to share the techniques you used to make sure your sites get absolutely no traffic at all? I think we're all perched on the edge of our seats over that one.

Well, blogs should have been given weight because of relevance and frequency of updates, and links to them as authority on a particular subject.

Bingo!!

You are exactly right Tom, with the keyword here being frequency

At the time .. blogs were considered to be the most advanced way of delivering what google feels is the holy grail of search itself ... live data

This was the thought process behing googles purchase of Evans first company long ago ( blogger )

However fast forward to now and Evan has struck gold again with his advances made in micro blogging ( he also invented twitter ), simple blog technology is all but outdated as it is no longer considered the best way to deliver the the freshest most relevant data.

I will give you an example... over the past few months there have been a lot of celeb deaths ... what digital outlet did most people turn to to stay updated on Micheal Jacksons death outside of traditional media?

They turned to social networks

say goodbye to rss :)

So whats next?

Well some might ask... Hey Andre are you saying that social networks like twitter are the future of search ? And I would answer that by saying flatly .... no

Once google buys twitter from evan the vast amount of data they will mine from the service will but turn the service into another youtube ( inovation will be hampered by the companies focus on its core product ... the engine )

And like other SN's the phase will pass

The charm is in another platform already in devel by the same teams that put everything we have so far in place ... and google is already in on the project

... so as I said say goodbye to RSS and ATOM

a new day is on the horizon

mobile and real realtime live combine with something old revisited :)

Tom feel free to hit me up anytime to talk internet marketing

As you can see there is not much I can share here as my anoying fan club of clueless trolls only makes me not want to share anything here

I remeber when this was a webmaster board with open debate and a free exchange of knowledge and ideas

But people like these trolls has killed that

If I owned the board , they would all be banned.

:2 cents:

Iron Fist 09-04-2009 08:04 AM

I hope your not really referring to the Google Wave

http://wave.google.com/

It's designed to compliment blogs and other sites with live real time updating from a central database. I can't see how anything would be penalized, but rather, if you included it, Google would be giving your sites lots of love.

Wave is not an accident

For google to invest its resources into a new protocol relative to realtime was a direct result of its predicting the now present success of twitter ... "build and expend on whats work"

surely they will soon buy twitter and integrate its base into the formal launch of wave

Operation back in control complete!

I never said that blogs would be penalized ... but they will lose a significant amount of value in importance as their ability to produce the live results google craves is far surpassed by the wave baby!!!
