The guys behind the counter where really quick to act. Could have gone very wrong if guns where involved. The look on their face when they see the robbers is almost like "not again" and then they just spring into action like it was an everyday occurence.

Saw an attempted jewellery store heist on TV the other day: the guy behind the counter had a pistol pointed at his face (gangsta style), but he deflected it then disappeared under the counter and came out firing. One of the robbers was shot (twice I think) and ended up in a wheelchair. Turns out the guy behind the counter was a former US Marine.

Most jewelry stores keep their doors locked the whole time. They usually hit a button to let you in when they see you walk up.

they got much less than they deserved. I with the store owners had actually beaten them up
