I watched that show today. Those nerds are spending 100's of thousands with no plans or anything. They are all a bunch of drama queens. Like the old guy pretending to be shot for press.

they are lucky they don't get murdered. it's been a while since i've had to be familiar with maritime law.. but most of what they do constitutes acts of piracy under international maritime law as well as other serious violations. they could be held and tried in japan for the bulk of the shit they pull. particularly when they send someone over to actually go onto another ship.. they could murder him as soon as he was on the boat without permission and be in the right for doing it.

Have you seen the eposide where they ramed the japanese ship, they actually ramed it because it was trying to off load a whale to the their larger processing ship. Let's see, 1000's of miles away from land, in the artic waters near antartica, you risk sinking your own ship and the lives of your crew because... they killed a whale in front of you. They actually punctured a hole in their own hual, just a couple feet above the water line. A couple feet lower and they would have sunk their own ship. I can't lie, I watch the show but much for the reason that people who hated howard stern use to listen to him, I can't wait to see what these idiots do next to make themselves look stupid.

They epic fail everytime they try to pull off a stunt. The throwing of stink bombs that hardly ever even make it on deck of the Jap ships, trying to drop lines in the water in front of the ships to tangle their rutter that never cause any problems. They spend all day trying to do something really gay and they can't even pull it off. But yet they claim victory. Bunch of ass clowns, green peace, tree hugging hippies, real world rejects trying to aggravate the japanese whale killers.

The research is legal and in order to complete it properly, the whale is killed. The Japanese law REQUIRES them to process and sell it.

Educate yourself please. they hunt minke whales which are not endangered. they can be sustainably hunted without effecting the overall numbers even if they increased their numbers by tenfold. those same minke whales are also responsible for consuming the majority of the fish eaten in the ocean and close to six times what every human on the planet eats fish wise.

the same terrorist pirates have actually sunk ships, shot at cops, and really have a list near a mile long of charges against them. dare anyone to visit their little website and ask why they will not go back to costa rica for example.
