Computer Gurus.. Help Pretty Please!!
I messed my computer up last night and now it says that I must have the Windows Vista disk to repair it.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?? I, in no way, want to pay $150 for a new disk. Help pretty pretty please :-) thanks April :( |

i'm assuming the pc is an HP or dell or another big mfg of pc's
call them, they can probably get you a new disc for cheap (20 bucks or so) if you bought it from a small shop, call them, they probably would help you for free if neither of the two above apply, craigslist or ask a friend digression i have found that it doesnt matter what version you are installing because vista dvd seems to know which copy to install based on the key. i used the home key using a vista ultimate copy and it installed it as vista home full with the right key... this wasnt the case with xp or 2k /digression |
Restore point is available on Vista, isn't it?
