Eastbound and Down question. Does it get better?
 

I had heard some good things about the HBO show Eastbound and Down so I got the first disc from season one from Netflix yesterday and watched the first three episodes last night. While it has some funny moments, I found the guy to be annoying and without any redeemable quality. Overall the show was just pretty boring. Does it get better after the first 3 episodes or should I give up on it?

If you aren't into the first couple of episodes you most likely won't be into the rest of it.

In my opinion the show is comedy gold.

There are some parts that really made me laugh. When he is standing in the shower and has the thong tan-line I thought that was hysterical. I also love his all black outlaw look.

I guess for me the humor of it doesn't outweigh the fact that most of the time the guy is just annoying.

I love that show, funny as hell.

There are only 3 more episodes so you might as well finish the season. That said its one of the funniest shows ever.

If you don't find this funny you need to check and see if you're still alive LOL!

Still not sure if I like it. It was really funny at times, but also really sad.... it does grow on you though!

It is definitely a "humor is subjective" type of comedy....

That show was fucking great! It does get better but if you don't like Danny McBride's style of comedy you probably won't like the show.

You need to be into the whole "will ferrel" concept of comedy to enjoy
