With all the talk about HD recently
 

I'd like to know what you think about what might be a game-changer.
I know there are a lot of experienced, working webmasters here and I'd appreciate your input/knowledge.

In the past couple of months I have put together http://tools.studiohd.com/ a CCBill backed cash program in support of http://www.studiohd.com/

THE PROGRAM. The program is revshare initially, and likely will have more payout options as the program grows. The promo tools are supported and delivered by CCBTools, which I find to be helpful to both affiliates, and myself as well.

THE (HD) NICHE. The niche here is High Definition videos. We have special licenses with erotica producing studios such as LSG Models, David Nudes, Xisty, Digital Desire, Watch4Beauty, and so on. They provide us with HD content, and we release it for our members at a rate of 2 updates per day.

MEMBER'S CONTENT. When someone joins StudioHD, they get access to the StudioHD Network, which resides on a private p2p network. You can forget some of what you know about p2p. Access to the StudioHD content is protected and restricted to paying members only. This is not a file sharing free for all. HD files are massive, and a p2p CDN is the perfect vehicle to transmit this kind of content to members. (usually at a minimum of 1mb/s and often much faster than that).

CONTENT PORTABILITY. StudioHD offers members something I don't think anyone else is doing yet. With a simple drag-and-drop, members can convert HD content to whatever device they wish to view. PS3, XBox, iTunes, PSP, and TIVO are all supported at this time. We're living in a time where you simply can't purchase a conventional television anymore. Everything is LCD, LED, Plasma. So ensure that the content available on your paysite is viewable on these devices.

What I'm asking is, what do you think of....

a. The content, and the rapid delivery of the content with consideration given to the different devices available for members to view it, and

b. The promo tools, keeping in mind that StudioHD isn't your ordinary paysite with an htaccess protected member's area. The site is non-traditional, and so I ask if the promo tools should also be different?

c. Anything else you'd add.

You are ahead of curve and I can tell you the early programs that went this way say in 2005 really did well in sales. It was mostly early adopters that are buying. Unfortunatley, not as may people care about the quality as one would think so I think when compared to free and the state of the economy. I believe your right in focusing on delivering a solid product with functionality direct to devices and flat screens.

I like High Definition. It sure is more pleasant to watch than lower resolution videos.
