How do you keep out spammers and scammers on your social sites?
 

I have a small social/dating site and everyday Im deleting 10+ spammers. They create an account using a super hot but fake picture and ask old men to meet them on Yahoo and they fall for it everytime.

how can I stop these fucking fake accounts? Ive had Stupid members give money to these fake accounts.

Good point. No way to keep out human scammers. But robots can be stopped.

hard to do but some of what you can do will depend on what kind of cms/sn/forum/script you are running...some have solutions that work pretty well..some you might have to get kinda creative with to combat spammers. hard to say w/o all the details

I feel your pain, the fucking spammers make what would otherwise be great sites to set up and let run, into a complete pain in the ass
