Don't worry, nothing has changed. All that articles says is that its been removed from google webmaster tools where it lists your sites highest PR pages.

I've had my PR 3 sites go to PR 0 and back to PR 2 with no loss of traffic, or any change in keywords...

Pagerank always sucked.
I have a forum and most forum's will have more outgoing than incoming links.
So I have thousands of pages indexed, and nice traffic. But google still says it's a pagerank 2.
Pagerank is only nice-to-have if you are selling something, like hardlinks.

Links are not just for PR, I think that is secondary, links are for relevancy and link popularity... if you have good content, and a popular site with good links, you might become more and more authoritative in G terms, so you will get better serps and consequently more traffic and $ ( this in response to the " linksellers are dead now " )

So if you buy a backlink and the PR is 0 or the toolbar is grayed-out does that mean the link is still good? Will google recognize that link coming into your site?

I believe that link would still be good. Think of what would happen in real life ( without any SEO working for a site, buying or getting links etc ) you could not prevent people with small, or new sites from linking to you ( how could you? ) Imho having a % of pr0 links is healthy and makes the site look natural. G hates patterns and I think their algo is not a simple 100 pr4, 2000 pr2, 10000 pr1 ;) What gives a site authority is a combination of things.

I would watch for banned sites, etc, but shouldn´t be ultra strict about it either, to preserver the " natural " appearance of the site. Also when buying links one has to be able to poderate the potential, if it is a pr0 with lots of potential, I would pay good money for it, if it is just a flat pr0 no traffic, etc then it would be a different price and so on.

That is why it gets difficult to price links individually, you have to consider traffic, age, link pop, serp, pr, and am sure other things too.

google says it doesnt mean anything but they dont completely remove it and its still the case that the biggest sites have the highest pr and the smallest the lowest.... how is that for 'it doesnt mean anything'? Funny.

i mean public displays of it. page rank will always be the basis of their algo. of course those who fail at google always say different as well as mainstream seo hucksters.

p.s. and after I showed you my seo results, you still say that I don't know anything about seo? Where do you get that from? Do search engine results not matter to you? If not, what do you call SEO? Getting sites with pagerank to link to you and hope for results? I do it different than you and still have good results. So there must be more ways to SEO than just what you know. Just because you didn't buy a link package from me doesn't mean you have to lie and try to harm my link business. You saw my results and so did a dozen others. you've been at it for years and your "good results" total less than 7000 hits a day across your primary sites and net you almost zero income. that's because you understand very little about how search engines work ... and quite frankly, you seem to be delusional/insane.

if "your way" was a way to achieve "good SEO results" then you would be sitting back with 500k - 1- 2 - 3 million uniques a day and selling link packages that were netting you 6-7 figures annually likes others do. you would have the same 6 people buying up everything you to offer had rather than relying on clueless noobs to toss you a few dollars for something that makes zero sense and has zero value.

they are right though, pagerank is useless to people who dont know what it means. they are just proving themselves to be idiots who know nothing about seo. if you use it to get killer google spots without any work of course its useless, if you have half of a clue and use it to get a ballpark idea of how good of linking power a site has, you will love it.

It's not my fault you are outdated. You have probably relied on work you did years ago, and simply have lost touch. IT DOES NOT TAKE LINKS FROM SITES WITH PAGERANK TO GET GOOD SEO RESULTS.

Also, the results I showed you are all NICHE sites. Not a million people a day looking for "crossdressing movies".

As far as profiting, I told you that I built that network (in June) to sell backlinks on. That's why the sites only had one banner and one dating ad. That's why they don't make many sales. The new owner can do what he wants with the niche traffic thay have.
