i had to start this cuz I was posting in another thread and it deserves its own.

Bing is better then google... here's why:

google has sold out to large internet companies. (disclaimer... fuck you google)

search for..

Live girls

website blacklists

compare the top 20 results in google then bing.

Can google go away cuz I feel they are selling out spots to vested interests and in return are producing shitty internet search results?

Bing suck as hell. I can't find anything on that SE.

I was looking for a service to identify if a site was blacklisted due to spam. It would likely be the most common searched phrase... now you try it

Really? I think that was a pretty weak search phrase. I never would have guessed that is what you were looking for. Why wouldn't you add the word "service" or "spam" to your search?

Do you think it might be because so many people actually seo their site specifically to get ranked in the top ten on google?

Coming from the same company that for years sold its entire adult search terms to Web Power (ifriends), with a fake SE page and results that they wanted up. Hell even the URL submit form did not have an actual submit ability. It just took the URL and pretended to send it. Be glad you were not looking for live girls then.

Why not monetize all search engine traffic rather than just ignoring whatever search engines you don't like?

the results you displayed... what would be the best site for checkin out black listed sites? what search engine displayed it the first?

If I wanted a search feature, I'd google "blacklisted site search". In which mxtoolbox.com comes up second in both Bing & Google.

If I wanted a list, like in your search term "website blacklist". Then Google wins, because urlblacklist.com is the better result.

Bing isn't a search engine, it's a decision engine... or some bs either way it doesn't do what I want!

bing results are the worst.

Yahoo is better than both.

More productive traffic, and better less spammy results.

To me anyway, obviously people all have their own views. Without search engines you'd be randomly typing out a ton of domains in your address bar so think of them as atleast useful even if you have to visit page 5 to get the site you want.

Bing is giving me better listings overall at the moment. Not much traffic though.
