i was at a party last night, there was a crowd of about 10 people standing in a circle talking about this movie for 15 min, i had to see it and just got back from the movies an hour ago

anybody else seen it? ill tell you, it has some good buzz going

CyberHustler 10-25-2009 10:08 PM

Me and my wife just got done watching it at our friends house about 5 minutes ago, what a disappointment...

Persius 10-25-2009 10:09 PM

Just got back from seeing this actually..

:2 cents:hype/marketing

Good concept and only $15,000 to make it..

The movie irritated me though...i expected more

DollarKing 10-25-2009 10:09 PM

Watch it online save the money!

dial 10-25-2009 10:09 PM

it wasn't a single bit scary, but yet still entertaining, doubt I would have paid to see it though, thank god for being able to steal movies

You want paranormal? Try this one our physics experiment!

Just for yer info.... Just incase you're
interested in investigating temporal
anomalies and finding glitches in the matrix...

Anyway... Check it!

Time and Space
An Ongoing Experiment
[ Physics ]

An investigation into the nature of
TIME and SPACE in Dimensions (third and fourth),
It has been discovered some interesting properties
that you can investigate also for yourself.

One being that TIME and Space are not linear.

What you will need to conduct your own experiment

(1) Sleep Program
(2) An Alarm Clock
(3) Pen and Paper

OPTIONAL:
STOP WATCH

This chart will help arrange your findings:

DATE:

TIME BEGIN SLEEP:

TIME ALARM IS SET:

TIME WOKE UP:

HOW MUCH TIME SLEPT:

CONDITION OF ALARM CLOCK
WHEN YOU WAKE UP:
( ON OR OFF )

STOP WATCH COUNT:
( If you used one )

ANSWER TO SLEEP
PROGRAM QUESTION:

An example of SLEEP PROGRAMMING:

Say OUTLOUD:

"I WISH TO KNOW THE TRUTH: ARE WE ALONE IN THE UNIVERSE?"

Then go to sleep, you get the truth in a dream tonight.

NOTE: You can substitute this question with any
question you have and get the answer tonight via sleep.

Note: This paper will expand in future.

TO BEGIN YOUR EXPERIMENT:

1. SLEEP PROGRAM

2. SET YOUR ALARM CLOCK FOR ONE HOUR INTO THE FUTURE.

3. GO TO SLEEP.

When you wake up, please take note of the following:

(1) Write down the answer to your question

(2) Is your alarm clock ON or OFF, when you awake?

(3) How much time elapsed while asleep and did it
match up with your alarm clock time, your begin
sleep time, wake up time, AND stop watch count?

Please reset your alarm clock for 1 hour into the
future when you awake and are ready to go back to sleep.

Gather data when you wake up.

Do this the whole night to the best of your ability.

Carefully write down your experience.

You can do this for several nights to get an average.

Good Luck!

4th kind looks a little better. paranormal looks like teh lame

Jakez 10-25-2009 10:31 PM

If you watch as a bootleg, dvd, etc. it probably isn't going to be too great. I saw this in a packed theater and thoroughly enjoyed it, even more so than the average movie experience. I've never felt so interacted with an audience before. The little clips you see in the trailer with the full theater and all the people jumping in their seat is no exaggeration.

You can't really compare this to any other movie, it's very different.

LiveDose 10-25-2009 10:38 PM

Heard a lot of mixed reviews but haven't seen it yet.

Yeah I noticed that the other night, downloaded the torrent for it, haven't watched it yet, in fact after leaving the movie I remember thinking it was the type of movie I would never watch a 2nd time, I still loved it and don't regret seeing it at all. :2 cents:

VirtualAdultAgent 10-26-2009 07:35 AM

so last night, there was this girl almost asleep on my couch, we had just gotten back from the movie.

like a cat i got off the couch, and just stood in front of her with a blank stare, 5 seconds later she opens her eyes to glance at the movie on the tv, saw me, and started screaming hysterically, it took her 2 minutes to stop shaking after i calmed her down

Lace 10-26-2009 07:58 AM

Shouldn't have wasted my time watching it. :2 cents:

Suckerpunch 10-26-2009 08:09 AM

I saw it a few days ago and thought it was going to be a lot better. Had potential based on the trailer but ended up being a huge disappointment.

Found the dvdscreener online the following day. Should have saved my money.

candyflip 10-26-2009 08:15 AM

There is a difference in the endings of the version people are downloading and the theatrical version.

bronco67 10-26-2009 08:36 AM

damn, does anyone actually pay to see movies any more?

Hmmmm... Sounds like we are talking about theft and illegal downloads. Oh the Irony. Hey Ice, where you at?

Darkland 10-26-2009 09:09 AM

The scumbags in this thread aside... I haven't seen it yet but I have several who have and I have to say I don't like where the younger generations are heading. For starters the couple people I talked to who went to see it told me about all these people who thought the movie was REAL. I shit you not, they thought this movie was real footage. I knew idiocracy was double in the younger generations but this is just sad.

Not only that but I have a feeling we will begin seeing a whole new section of the reality craze exploding very soon, thanks to this movie. REALITY MOVIES. Dear lord, I hope not.

bloggerz 10-26-2009 10:26 AM

The original ending from the original release is way better .

jcsike 10-26-2009 10:49 AM

horror movies have not done it for me for years, dont think this one will either from the comments i heard

Yeah but that was back in 1999 at or before the beginning of the Reality TV nightmare that we live in today. Today things are different with the cheap availability of handheld digital recorders, digital cameras, phone video and camera etc.

I see it coming.

fatfoo 10-26-2009 03:56 PM

Haven't seen the movie. But, I've seen paranormal activity in real life.

mitch 10-26-2009 04:04 PM

The boyfriend character was killing my life.

It had potential....as time went on the movie went from, "maybe this could really happen" to "rrrrrrrright"

Umm, my friend has a movie theater in her basement... officer...

CyberHustler 10-26-2009 04:51 PM

So theirs 2 endings? I saw the one where she stands over dude for a couple hours then goes downstairs and starts screaming like a whore. Then her boyfriend goes down as Captain Save-A-Hoe and gets stabbed up by her and then she sits on the side of her bed rocking for like 24 hours before getting shot by the cops and shit.

What's the other ending?

Twig 10-26-2009 05:27 PM

Let's all complain on a daily basis about tubes and torrents stealing our sales, and then turn right around and talk about watching, downloading, pirating movies like it's nothing.
Bunch of fucking hypocrites for real.

A PAY theater open to the public? I don't think so. Theft is theft by ANY definition. If you didn't pay to see it you stole it. I mean WTF! And there is no "I wasn't the one that stole it" defense. You watched it free of charge you stole it. End of story.

These idiots don't give a shit. Nothing but a bunch of self entitled little pricks who thinks everything is owed to them. Why should they pay for music or the programs or the dvds or anything they can just go steal off the internet?

I know people who work in Hollywood and I did at one time too. This shit makes my blood boil everytime I see them talking about it like its no big deal. UNTIL someone does it them.

Porn Grounds 10-26-2009 07:09 PM

glad we both agree on that...whew, had me worried!

fuck paying for anything. MAYBE if they start charging a fair price for cd's, movies, etc, then I MIGHT start paying for it...but as long as a movie is $12.50 to go see in the theater, then FUCK YOU

kind of like how the music industry started charging $19 for a cd in the late 90's and couldn't figure out why EVERYONE was downloading from napster instead of buying cd's...lol

whatever, I don't care, the system is screwing me harder than most people right now, so I am going to screw the system right back

Stupidity is not a defense either.

"No officer, I didn't know you couldn't drink and drive."
"Oh... In that case I won't charge you. Have a nice day."

"I did nothing wrong officer. The sign said buy one get one free. I didn't have the money so I took the free one."
"Hmmm... That makes perfect sense. You're free to go."

Idiocracy... It isn't just a state of mind, it is a disease. See avatar.

Naechy 10-27-2009 09:38 AM

Seen it yet but I have several who have and I have to say I don't like where the younger generations are heading. Yes

Scott McD 10-27-2009 09:40 AM
