guess who had a total laptop harddrive failure with almost nothing backed up?

All I'm going to get for my birthday is a bunch of jeers from friends and family alike...

I had a problem with my new Macbook less than 2 weeks ago. I took it to the store and they handed me a new one.

Went home, ran the time machine and was back up and running that afternoon with zero loss.


ALWAYS backup.

It's an easy thing to do but often overlooked. That's why I LOVE my time capsule. :)

in fact, just the other day i was telling myself "don't backup! don't backup". but i did and i ran over the bottle of car wash soap.

made a huge mess, took forever to rinse down the driveway.

had the same 2 months ago, lost a whole bunch of private family photos and stuff.

Sucks!

Believe in the Holy Almighty Cloud and keep your docs online!

BTW that is a do-as-I-say-not-as-I do thing for me hahaha.
