I typically keep the volume off, especially if I am on gfy or any adult sites.

I've got some sweet old beige Apple Desktop Speakers that still sound great.

I have my pc connected to my home theater system with an optical audio cable. So for speakers: 2 Cerwin Vega LS12 - 300watts each, 2 Cerwin Vega e705's (rear speakers), a 150watt JBL center speaker (I forget the model lol) and a 200watt Cerwin Vega sub. Everything from my pc, audio wise, gets converted to dolby digital though my sound card (Turtle Beach Montego DDL)

I just plug in some big headphones and throw them on the floor. Works fine for me.

Some old JBL's that used to come attached to compaq monitors in the 90's.

I've been using those speakers for about 4 years now.. I'm quite surprised they haven't brought anything new to the market yet.

However they are very good speakers, you will be happy.

Bose Companion 3's. I LOVE them.

My bro has the companion 5's and they are ultra tight but almost overkill if anything.

For headset/mic I have Creatives "Fatal1ty" model.

+1. I have 2 sets (1 in my office, 1 in my wife's). For the size, sound and price, they absolutely cannot be beat.

I had these for a few years and 1 day the sub/amp surged and fucked up the electrical system in my old house. Luckily I saved the satellites and I was able to implement those into one of my home theatre setups. I will admit: That setup sounded phenomenal! :thumbsup

That's what I have now. But, I keep getting patches of distortion through all my speakers every five minutes. :(

My favorite PC speakers are still a $10 pair of Altec-Lansing 2.0 stereo speakers from like 10 years ago. Fuck y'all, you only got two ears. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

I'm using the SPDIF out to my Onkyo 7.1 receiver, Mirage speakers with built in powered subs, Mirage center, MK sub and 4 MK surrounds. It's overkill for sure..:1orglaugh

Three speaker version of these are amazing - enough to be clear at low volume and if you do and multimedia you can make the table shake if you want and they are great...

I have my laptop connected to a nice Yamaha amplifier with 2 B&W DM603 S3 speakers, but most of the time I listen to music and not to the sound my computer produces ;-)
