Is it possible to change airline ticket to earlier date?
 

not sure Ill be able to handle myself here for another month or so, but my return flight home is dated over a month away.. what If I needed to be home this week? can I get an earlier flight.. do I just pay extra.. whats the deal?

It is highly illegal to change your flight early.

They will assume you are narco trafficking and throw you in jail for life. Do not try!

well apparently.. I just show up at airport and let them know I want to return home early and I will have to pay small fee. 50-200$ and ill be on the next flight.

LOL - sure you can change your flight :) Call your airline and they will work it out for you. You'll likely have to pay a change fee and the fair difference but you can roll when ever you'd like.

for fuck sakes fucksakes most people who come to SE asia try to extend their stay :-) Its the start of high season now so expect to pay $$$ to change your flight.

If you want a more relaxed holiday don't go to the beachs as nearly all of them are up market resort bullshit hell holes not much different than pattaya.
If you really want to chill out and relax without all the "massage sir?" crap try Laos its one of the most laid back places on the planet. Also Illegal for foreigners to have sex with locals so your girlfriend will be happy.

it all depends on the kind of ticket you've got. Promo tickets usually cost quite a lot of money to change

you're screwed- after 9/11 if you change a flight you're labeled a terrorist as they think you have inside knowledge of something that will happen to the plane

if you don't show up they will hunt you down and arrest you too
