Pay vs Free

I just started my pay (membership) site and I am not having much luck converting. I was thinking about making my content (which I produce) free and charging for advertising and affiliates.

What are your thoughts on this? Do people really pay for porn anymore? Can a little site even compete with the big boys anymore?

Go micro niche, it's really the only way to make your way now. Gone are the days of general hardcore unless you have 10,000+ dvd's and even then its general porn.

if you are MyShowerGirl.com I am a bit suprised you say your are not converting ... do you mean you have no members? or the rate is high?
Maybe list the update dates to show how frequent you update .. also what other features do you offer??
Besides that, the site looks good.

I agree, the site does look good, but where is your affiliate program and why aren't you using CCBILL? The key is to have a good affiliate program so that webmasters will pick your site up and start promoting.. What kind of traffic does the site get?

:2 cents:

What exactly is the difference between an affiliate and a webmaster?

Your paysite looks really well. The concept is also better than alot of other paysites. If only I liked girls, I would sign up :) But sadly, I'm a girl myself. However, I would suggest you to set up an affiliate program so other webmasters can promote your website aswell. At least, I would.

PS: What's up with the join rates? You're asking 1/3rd of most other paysites. Ofcourse, this can be a good thing, but I doubt any serious webmaster would promote your content if the comission is only $6.99 per sign up or so.

i will stay with the pay rather than give away your content
