World Cup draw day

Today is the day. Hopefully England avoids Portugal. What are you hoping to happen for your team?

liveone 12-04-2009 02:37 AM

lol

Go Argentina ! But I hate Maradona ! You know why :)

NBBCash Matze 12-04-2009 04:56 AM

not a big soccer fan, I cross my fingers for the home team South Africa, yeah! Today 18.00 o'clock CET is the draw right?

The Demon 12-04-2009 05:04 AM

I'm a diehard soccer fan but we know what teams are going all the way and what teams won't make it out of the relegation round. I'm looking at you USA, South Africa, and the rest of the bunch not named Spain, Brazil, Italy, and maybe England.

wielco 12-04-2009 05:27 AM

I don't really care, Holland is gonna win as I always say!

A "die hard soccer fan" would call it football and not soccer :2 cents:

;))

The Duck 12-04-2009 07:02 AM

Portugal is not the one you need to worry about.

With Maradona as coach they will be lucky to win one game.

HighSociety 12-04-2009 07:23 AM

2 bad cup draws in a row...hopefully we get an easier draw this year!

Haha only if I lived in Europe. Been in America too long to call it anything but soccer. But I know enough to be considered "diehard" lol.

The Demon 12-04-2009 07:25 AM

Lets face it, the US had their best team in 2006 and almost got by Germany. They've gone downhill since then. I want them to win but it's also unrealistic.

Michael O 12-04-2009 07:31 AM

Hoping we draw South Africa by far the easiest of the seeded teams, already set my alarm clock so I don't miss it :)

Go France!

Pedro Pink Robot 12-04-2009 09:20 AM

This Cup is going to be very competitive. Hope Brazil plays as it was playing the last 2 years.

Scott McD 12-04-2009 09:21 AM

Being Scottish i'm obviously hoping for a hard draw for England.

The thing is, looking at the Pots, i can't really pick out a "hard" draw so to speak...

cwd 12-04-2009 09:23 AM

I'm hoping the US get S Africa, Algeria and Slovenia...at least they would have a chance to get out of the group stage!!!

odds to win...
S.Africa 100 to 1
Algeria 300 to 1
Slovenia 200 to 1
US 80 to 1

Don't be a hater!!! Support your southern neighbors LOL

GrStallion 12-04-2009 11:06 AM

Here comes the fun! :D

Greece will destroy football and win the World Cup too! :pimp

Michael O 12-04-2009 11:07 AM

Group A with SA and Mexico looks good.

DonX 12-04-2009 11:08 AM

Good luck to all the teams :thumbsup

Poppy 12-04-2009 11:10 AM

Bring on the Brits! Go USA!!!

Scott McD 12-04-2009 11:11 AM

USA USA USA !!!! :winkwink:

Michael O 12-04-2009 11:12 AM

Italy and New Zealand would be OK too.

kowalsky 12-04-2009 11:15 AM

Korea, excelent!

kowalsky 12-04-2009 11:15 AM

Nigeria, no easy, but it could be worst.

Michael O 12-04-2009 11:16 AM

G don't look good with Brazil, Ivory Cost and North Korea.
Never fun to play against a team that risk labour camp if they lose.

Michael O 12-04-2009 11:17 AM

GROUP A for Denmark would be very very good.

Michael O 12-04-2009 11:17 AM

Or D wouldn't be to bad.

Scott McD 12-04-2009 11:19 AM

I reckon some of those groups look very weak.

The top seeded team in each group should go through with no problems at all !!
