nation-x 12-11-2009 03:44 PM

WebAdultSolution 12-11-2009 03:51 PM

Try Avast

Farang 12-11-2009 04:06 PM

NOD32... not free, but why wouldn't you pay $xx for antivirus software :helpme

dav3 12-11-2009 04:18 PM

Avast is only free for 60 days.

Use Avira Antivir and set it down a notch to avoid false positives.

eroticsexxx 12-11-2009 05:06 PM

Panda Cloud antivirus - It's free, revolutionary and it works.

And it's been out of beta for some time now too.

d-null 12-11-2009 05:30 PM

avast works great, and it is free (not just for 60 days like someone said above)

I checked which version I have again, and it's the 'Professional Edition'. So that's where I got the 60 day thing.

So yea, looks like I should have picked the 'Home' package. :upsidedow

AVG + Superantispyware is all the free protection you need.

KILL_FRENZY 12-11-2009 07:44 PM

...not one that WORKS.

If you love being informed *afterwards* about the bloody virus you just got then go right ahead and don't buy a decent anti-virus :2 cents:

tiger 12-11-2009 07:52 PM

AVG used to be great but has turned to crap.

I use avast and have been very happy with it. Took a little tuning but it is very nice.
