Whats your favorite 70s music group

As i leave for Vancouver to watch the Kings smash the Canuckleheads , Im listening to KC and the Sunshine band. I always liked those peeps.

Yea right Vancouver will sm... oh wait, I just realized how silly sports patriotism is.

Put the KC away and get REAL funky with some Funkedelic. Then if you're up to it, I'd recommend hitting up iggy to get you pumped for the hockey game.

The Kings finally put a half decent team on the ice.
Sounds like my Leafs.

I wouldn't bet on them against the Canucks, though.

The Ramones.

Riffhard 12-14-2009 08:24 AM

Beck Bogert & Appice

and Zeppelin of course. :)

Most of them. Love my 70's bands. Journey was the tail end of the 70's but they have to be up there. I like weird shit though like Bread etc that most people might not like lol

Lots of great music in the 70s but check out the Meters, Little Feat (with Lowell George at the helm - forget the stuff after he died) and Robert Palmer's "sneaking sally through the alley", a great record, which featured the Meters as a backing band. :2 cents:
