Is this why they used a nigerian?

They figured airport security won't be suspicious if they see an extra large bulge in his pants?

On a serious note, what we can learn from the terror attempt is that the passenger mindset is different then pre 9/11 and I think the terrorists fear that more than security check points. These guys can yell and scream and jump on monkey bars but are weak physically and I think thats what TV needs to remind people.

Every time they talk about one of these training camps they show grown men playing on monkey bars (something the avg american kid mastered at age 6) and then they show guys in the desert firing AK47's up in the sky (I mean if they want to scare people shoot at a target 500 feet away and hit it).

Don't underestimate the enemy on the ground, fighting for years... you can be damn sure them guys are hard as nails and they can for sure shoot a gun.

If this was an equal war, ground war only... they would be kicking our teeth in.

Every US Airport/Airline should follow Israels security measures like they have at ben gurion airport and el al for example with the mandatory armed marshalls on board and the long interview before they even let you on...Even if this means longer times to get on at least i feel its better than what we have now..

Everytime I fly domestic no matter when or where I zip threw security but as always I see a poor old guy gettting the behind the ass patdown and shit...

Every bs security rule they add the terrorizers are one step ahead and so on..

the guy that is actively looking to get killed for a cause is def a hard enemy to fight, but when you sit on a plane and you know what they did 9/11 all of a sudden the innocent get strength they thought they never had, because they know its kill them or die trying, and that is what these terrorists are underestimating.

El Al spends a huge amount of money on security, I think they have 4+ guys per plane then they have people watching people at the terminal and tons of others.

Terrorism... it isn't about who they kill, it's about what they change. :/

True they do but it is a necessity , they realized this after there planes got hijacked back in the day and took the steps ... The US needs to do the same but unfortunately the "politics" will get in the way.. All these extra screenings and bla bla they are adding is just a false sense of security
