Mobile workshop at Internext - post your questions here
 

As we announced a couple weeks back, TopBucks Mobile will be conducting a mobile workshop at Internext on Monday January 11 at 11am, at which we'll cover a range of issues pertaining to the adult mobile market, from designing and developing for major mobile devices to mobile marketing and advertising methods.

Since this is for the benefit of the adult webmaster public and our b2b partners, we're soliciting questions in advance, so that we can tailor the session to be as useful to the audience as possible. This isn't going to be a spam session in which you will be told repeatedly that your best solution is simply to send your mobile traffic to TopBucks Mobile (even though that's clearly the case, hehe). This workshop is intended to impart information of value, not to relentlessly self-promote our program.

What are some mobile-related questions you'd like to hear answers to? Post your questions in this thread, or send them to me at [email protected] and we'll address as many of them as we can during the workshop.

If you aren't attending Internext, don't let that stop you from submitting questions; we'll be recording the session and posting it online following the show, so everyone who is interested will have a chance to benefit from the discussion.

Other than the 10% of mobile traffic already hitting my site, how else can I attract mobile traffic?

what sort of time frame is there until we have SMS billing in a functional way for NA traffic?

Very good questions here; the one about what sort of mobile-related business would we start if we were just getting going on the mobile market is a particularly crucial one for anybody that hasn't already gotten into the game.

Here's a question:

How does one go about attracting mobile traffic? Is most of it just putting an encouraging text link on sites that already have a lot of traffic? ie... Point your mobile browser here!

It's all good to install blog widgets that recognize mobile browsers, but without the mobile traffic, they aren't much use.

2) Is it safe to use script as "jQuery" for the compatibility with different models of mobile ?

3) The best way to call ccs ?

4) Is it necessary to focus on a mobile browser ?

In addition to some of the questions posted by others I would be interested in hearing some facts about mobile and porn. I've heard that it is popular in Europe. Why is that and what kind of statistics are there to support the anticiapted growth of this medium? Will people really choose mobile over a laptop or desktop to view the same porn or does content need to be changed for a mobile audience (Aside from the technical changes that might be necessary). In other words is there certain content that works better over mobile? Is it possible for web cam chat sessions to be streamed over mobile?
