No your supposed to let the faucets drip, but seeing how I don't go outside or watch the weather regularly except during hurricane season, I didn't realize it was going to be 20 degrees/13 degrees with the wind chill factor.

And unscrew hoses.

and drain the water out of the hoses. Dont forget to let the water drip. 20 degrees at night is normal here.

I noticed the sound was frozen this morning, and we are only 6 miles apart. It will be a feels like 10 degrees tomorrow when I get my son on the bus.. Holy crap!!!
I just looked at weather.com and we may get snow Friday? I moved to this island to stay warm lol..

Zuzana Designs 01-03-2010 03:44 PM

How pretty is the sun set tonight though :) Such an awesome pink!
I have to get the trash out and it's soooooo cold...

The sound wont freeze if you let your speakers drip at night.

My pipes weren't frozen, but its been under 30 the last couple nights, here on the southern coast of NC. Be sure to run your water and flush your toilets a couple times during the night. I'm up all night, so I do this anyway.

turn your heat up :)

I know it was great wasn't it! My office window faces the sound.

I don't envy you getting your youngin' on the bus tomorrow morning, I am soooo glad those days are over but even so I am thinking I didn't move far enough south. ESPECIALLY if they are saying snow possible on Friday. The Keys, oh to be in the keys...

We should do lunch one of these days when it warms up. I met someone the other day that has worked in the industry as well that lives here too, we are taking over the island...LOL

If your on the river your only about 20 or so miles(atcf) from where I am

Oh I almost forgot, my ice machine burst a "grommet", its made to do that in cases like this where it freezes, I just wish I hadn't been standing right next to it with the cover off when it did...lol

Sosa, houses here are on stilts, it could be 100 degrees inside and it isn't going to help the pipes running up from the gound. :(
