The good thing in that article is that Yemen is being proactive, working with us.

They have no choice and you can really thank Bush for that. Look what happened when Saddam did not work with us. That is about the only good to come from the war in Iraq.

What is Yeman going to do? Say no? Obama would invade that country in a heart beat.


But with that said, I dont think the Yeman government is strong enough to take out all threats in their own country. And terrorism will never be defeated because it is near impossible to do.

I'm fairly confident we wouldn't invade Yemen regardless. I'd be more willing to bet they are jockeying for position for some favorable aid. Saudi Arabia would never stand for being almost completely surrounded by us. We've also been making predator strikes inside Yemen for a while now under Obama, presumably with Yemen(Yemeny?) intel on high value targets.

Saudi kingdom is already working with You since almost 100 years.
