I've lived in England, the US, Switzerland and France and I'd have to say, that France is the best place (out of those anyway) to live.

I rarely disagree on anything you say, mainly cos the subject is usually a nice set of jubblies, but here I have to disagree. Religion and the State in France are very separated entities. It is illegal to display any religious marks, be it crosses, headscarves, veils anything in any public building, schools and workplace included.

Shame the same cannot be said for the UK, where the head of the State is the head of the Church. :error

This is about rich fucks who have a Villa in Provence, not ordinary people.

I'd live in Provence anytime. I go there a lot and will be there in September again. The French know how to live. They eat well. They drink well. They party well. They dress well. The workers don't take shit.
They live better than most of the first world as far as I can see.

No, I've lived there both in Paris and outside Paris. To me it sucks.

I would choose Singapore if I had a family and Hong Kong if not.
