Yeah, it's getting worse again pretty quickly... I've noticed a few plugins are really having some bad effects on it as well.
They pushed back the release date for 3.6 and thus, 4.0 as well... hopefully they're putting extra time into plugging those holes.

PersianKitty 01-09-2010 01:54 PM

I'm at 3.0.17 too. I loved Chrome when I tried it, but I couldn't figure out how to watch porn on AEBN, etc., so I went back to FF.

Fletch XXX 01-09-2010 02:23 PM

i stopped using it awhile back, started to really chug and then started crashing everytime I visit certain sites! Although it is on my laptop and an old pc i use sometime, but its old version s

MetaMan 01-09-2010 02:25 PM

Let it get over the initial shock of your baldness and it will get back to normal. :winkwink:

EscortBiz 01-09-2010 02:36 PM

deleted FF, overtime it will kill the harddrive and memory its terrible, they really gone to shit

u-Bob 01-09-2010 03:06 PM

mine's running with 130+ tabs open and using about 800 megs of memory.... round 1.4 gigs of memory usages it normally starts getting sloooooooooow.

Catalyst 01-09-2010 04:13 PM

Ya sometimes it does trip balls

Gordon1 01-09-2010 04:17 PM

USE CHROME,Firefox sucks

Serge Litehead 01-09-2010 04:23 PM

i find chrome being more elegant plus its fast.

candyflip 01-09-2010 04:29 PM

It's not too bad on OSX, but I do prefer to use Chrome.

The most recent dev builds can make use of the extensions now.

Juicy D. Links 01-09-2010 04:29 PM

i tried chrome way back when it was first introduced didnt give it a chance it looks like i might give it another go around...

Denny 01-09-2010 04:34 PM

FF sucks :disgust

Gordon1 01-09-2010 04:35 PM

Gordon1 01-09-2010 04:52 PM

Safari working good for me, i tried now and its fast

pamon 01-09-2010 04:56 PM

juic, use chrome. lots quicker and less resources. loads quicker. stopped using FF a while back. forever to load and render. even newer one is bloated. chrome + extensions + bookmark syncer = perfect browser

Gordon1 01-09-2010 05:01 PM

I Agree with you pamon,i really like FF but last versions of FF sucks

Nautilus 01-09-2010 05:13 PM

Yep mine crashes all the time, going to give Chrome a try now.

QuaWee 01-09-2010 05:21 PM

I can't stand FireFox anymore. Google Chrome is my fav now

Worldnet 01-09-2010 06:04 PM

The new version 3.5.7 is terrible. I just uninstalled it and went back to the old version. Am trying out Opera now.

BigRod 01-09-2010 06:07 PM

Yeah I dropped FF about a year ago.

lacuna 01-09-2010 06:07 PM

Safari :thumbsup

brand0n 01-09-2010 07:29 PM

been on chrome for a week now after i got so fucking sick of ff just... stopping.

sucked so much balls.

Supz 01-09-2010 08:40 PM

google chrome is the best

pamon 01-09-2010 08:47 PM

chrome renders quickly, loads quickly, and has support for most plugins already plus HTML5 support. FF just is too cumbersome and then when you add plugins, it takes forever to load. It USED to be quick, but not lately. Tried Safari and even that on PC or MAC is slow. Chrome for MAC or PC is my choice of browsers now.

Spunky 01-09-2010 08:59 PM

I stopped using it ,back to IE for me

Sly 01-09-2010 10:09 PM

I was always afraid of transferring all of my passwords and settings so I didn't give Chrome a shot. I just installed it. They automatically transferred my bookmarks, passwords, and settings.

Right now I only have this one single tab open and my task manager says Chrome is using 54,796 K. Firefox at this point would be using around 150,000 K. I'm interested to see how this plays out. If memory use continues to stay this low and I do not miss out on any functionality, I might just make the full switch.

Agent 488 01-09-2010 10:13 PM

yeah went back to netscape.

Klen 01-10-2010 08:55 AM

I'l stick with firefox unless other browsers will support extensions which i use but i doubt that.Beside once memory usage grow to 1gb i simply restart it and problem solved.

Have you ever checked to see if Chrome is still running after you close it? Might surprise you.
